Serving the northern parts of the Holmes County and southern parts of Wayne County areas, this group meets in various locations every two weeks in Shreve, Moreland, or Holmesville. It usually starts on Sunday evenings at 5:30PM and ends at 7:30PM. Feel free to bring a snack or just show up. Anyone interested in joining this group feel free to contact us.
Life Group B
Serving the mid and southern parts of the Holmes County, this group meets in various locations every two weeks in Shreve, Moreland, or Holmesville. Life Groups
An amazing experience occurs when people get together to talk about their spiritual journeys. Life Groups is a central ministry at Northside as it is clear in God's Word that the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, but rather in community with others who seek God's truths in their life.
What Is A Life Transformation Group?
It is a gathering of 10-15 individuals for the purpose of Bible Study, fellowship, and outreach. The principals of Loving God, Loving People, and Living Surrendered are practiced within this group as they help to strengthen one another in a daily walk with the Lord and live out the commands of reaching people who are far from the Father. The weekly discussions are based on the Sunday Morning message delivered at Northside. Three components of LTG”s are Share, Confess, Pray.
1. SHARE how the passage compels you to live out the rule and reign of God.
a. How do the truths of this passage impact your moments today?
b. How does this passage instruct you to live out the rule and reign of God?
c. What will you do to put this instruction into practice?
d. What have you discovered about Jesus' agenda that differs from your thoughts, attitudes and decision making?
2. CONFESS the challenges of living out the rule and reign of God:
a. How have the thoughts of your mind honored Christ this week?
b. How has the attitude of your heart reflected Christ in your important relationships this week?
c. In what decisions of your will have you obeyed Christ this week?
d. In what ways have you glorified Christ by your words and actions this week?
e. What do you sense the Spirit convicting or compelling you to do differently in the coming week?
3. PRAY for specific people to follow the rule and reign of God.
a. Lord, I pray that you draw __________ to Yourself. (John 6:44)
b. I ask that You send someone who will share Your truth with __________. (Matt 9:37-38)
c. I pray that __________ will hear and believe Your Word for what it really is. (1 Thess 2:13)
d. Holy Spirit, I ask You to convict __________ of his/her sin and need for Christ's redemption. (John 16:7-14)
e. Lord I pray that __________ will turn from his/her sin and put all of his/her trust in Christ. (1 Thess 1:9-10, 1 John 1:8-9)
