Pastor Todd
Todd Hartley is the lead pastor of Northside Baptist Church. He and his wife Sue, returned to Millersburg in 2004 to begin the transition process of succeeding his father, Cliff Hartley, as lead pastor. Northside was planted by his dad in January 1988. The church is active in community outreach, and world evangelism. Northside Church is part of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Todd is passionate about seeing people become mature followers of Jesus Christ. He believes that loving God, loving people and living surrendered are essential keys to life transformation and obedience to God.
Todd has a B.S. degree from Liberty University and M.A.R. and M. Div. degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. In the fall of 2012 he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. His thesis topic was “About My Father’s Business: Pastoral Succession from Father to Son.”
Prior to returning to Northside, Todd spent four years and Senior Pastor at Milan Baptist Church in Milan, Ohio, one year as Student/Senior Adult Pastor at Parma Baptist Church in Parma, Ohio, and 10 years as bi-vocational Associate Pastor at Northside Baptist Church in Millersburg, Ohio. He currently serves as Adjunct Instructor for Liberty University Online School of Religion.
Todd and his wife Sue have two children, Cara and Nathan. Todd enjoys investing in the lives of others, camping, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

Pastor Cliff
Cliff Hartley was born the first time, August 14, 1943 and born the second time as he trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 12 in 1955 in his home town of Coal Grove Ohio. He married his child-hood sweet heart, Jeanie, on May 18, 1963. Together, they have been serving Christ for more than 35 years.His family consists of his older son Brett and his wife Tatiana, their children, Madison and Taylor. Also, his younger son Todd and his wife Sue, and their children, Cara and Nathan.
He accepted the call to preach the gospel and received his education at the Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, graduating in 1975.
He has pastored 3 churches, one in Ironton, Ohio, one in Jacksonville, Florida and one in Millersburg, Ohio. Presently he serves as Pastor Emeritus at the Northside Baptist Church in Millersburg, Ohio. He has written several gospel tracts and is the author of: Saturday Night Musings, Are You Ready for the Rapture, and Five Simple Words.
He currently serves not only as Pastor Emeritus at Northside Baptist Church but also as Moderator/Leader of the Buckeye/Erie Baptist Association and Interim Pastor of Southview Baptist Church in Galion, Ohio. He is active in revival ministry throughout the state of Ohio.
“Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.” Psalm 73:23-25

Pastor Jared
Jared Burkholder is the Youth Pastor at Northside Baptist Church. He and his wife Megan moved to Millersburg in the beginning of July 2013. It was a very interesting time as they were expecting their first child around the same time. Their daughter Madelyn was born July first and a week later they moved to Millersburg.
Jared is very passionate about reaching teenagers with the love of Christ. He graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) with a B.S. in Bible and Youth Ministry. That is also where he met Megan.
After graduating in May of 2011, Jared took a secular job for two years at a thrift store. In the meantime he faithfully served as a volunteer leader with Megan in the youth group at Chelten Baptist Church in Dresher, PA.
Jared looks forward to a long and prosperous ministry here in Holmes County with his wife Megan and daughter Madelyn. Jared enjoys the outdoors, campfires, video games and most sporting events.
